The Welcome Party

In this sizzling second-chance romance for fans of The People We Meet on Vacation and One Italian Summer, two people who haven’t spoken since one fateful night five years ago find themselves stranded in Italy for a friends’ wedding. Lauren Schatz is falling apart. Not that anyone knows that. As far as her friends are concerned, she has it all together. An impressive career in risk management, a gorgeous apartment in Tribeca, a boyfriend who will pop the question any day now—she appears to have it all. Except Lauren’s career is in shambles. She and her boyfriend just broke up. And that apartment? She still misses the tiny place she used to share with her friends in Brooklyn. The only thing she’s looking forward to is her best friend’s wedding on the Amalfi Coast. But when a hurricane grounds everyone else’s flights, Lauren finds herself alone in Italy with the one person she would rather never see again: Ford Lawson. Lauren and Ford have never been close...except for one blistering night five years ago, which they haven’t spoken of since. But the more time they spend together, faithfully following the wedding week itinerary that takes them through Italy’s most hidden and romantic corners, Lauren finds herself questioning whether the mistake she made wasn’t that one night with Ford: but everything she’s missed out on since.
