Patrick Rothfuss

1973, Madison

Nato nel Wisconsin nel 1973, Patrick Rothfuss ha studiato ingegneria chimica all'università di Stevens Point, laureandosi poi in letteratura. Rothfuss è stato insignito, negli anni, del Quill Award, del David Gemmell Legend Award, del German Fantasy Prize e del prestigioso Premio Locus al miglior romanzo di Fantasy. Il Nome del Vento (2016) è il primo romanzo della trilogia Le Cronache dell'Assassino del Re (The Kingkiller Chronicle), edita da Mondadori, seguito da La paura del saggio (2017). Tra le altre sue pubblicazioni: Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & dragons (Panini Comics 2019) e Lo sguardo lento delle cose mute (Mondadori 2019).
