  • Jean Moorhouse

This is a wonderful story of two women at different periods in time. The first, Georgia, was sent to a sanatorium for her TB and found love there. The second, Catherine, her granddaughter, finds peace within her own life as she learns more about her grandmother's life. Catherine inherits her grandmother's house in Vermont where she finds Georgia's diaries which relate to life in New England in 1910, and it helps her perceive her life in the present day. Cath starts to realize what's important in her own life after becoming aware of her grandmother's struggles. A great book. Jean
