Your Heart to Keep

Holly My life recommenced the moment I received the heart transplant I'd been waiting on for thirteen months. I'd been given a second chance. A new start. And even with my limited vision due to Marfan's Syndrome, I was determined to make each day count. Then I met my donor's boyfriend, the man who hates me, and the turmoil started all over again. He's angry and grieving his lost love—the one I carry a part of—but the heart wants what the heart wants, and my new heart still wants Jax. Jax My life ended the moment I learned of her death, my Chloe, the girl I vowed to love forever. But forever is now gone. Stolen in the night by an accident I had caused. And now she has my heart—the one I owned. I want to hate her, and I do, but with every passing day exposing her determination and strength, my anger dissipates. Knowing that part of Chloe lives on should finally allow me to put her to rest, but it isn't that easy. The heart wants what the heart wants, and mine is torn between honoring the girl I loved and moving on with my life with only her heartbeat at my disposal. Your Heart to Keep is a gripping new adult standalone romance by Amanda Mackey. Recommended to those over eighteen years.
