This is a tale of a sheltered and precious upbringing in India, looking at the world through a child's eyes following the end of the British Raj and then being thrown into the real world training for a career in Fashion Design in the United States as a carefree teenager. Then setting up home in England, starting a family and buying a ruined maison de vigne in rural France as a hands on holiday project which led to some bizarre and amusing moments of joie de vivre, to becoming a Cub Scout Leader in Surrey and simultaneously running a glamorous fashion boutique side by side, helping several charities with fundraising Fashion shows every year.
