    good, i was hoping for more

    [3.75] If I had a penny every time Atalanta fell for a boy she met in the forest, i would have two pennies, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice. In all seriousness, for most of my reading experience I didn’t know what to think of this book. The first part was slow, I struggled to connect with Atalanta and as the story progressed I was more intrigued by the romance subplot (or what was supposed to be the subplot) than her story in itself. The ending won me over and filled me with emotions. I still think that most of the book would’ve benefited from a stronger heroine amongst men presence.

Jennifer Saint

Jennifer Saint è un’autrice inglese. Affascinata dalla mitologia greca sin da piccola, si è laureata in Studi classici al King’s College di Londra. Ha poi insegnato per diversi anni inglese, condividendo con i suoi studenti l’amore per la letteratura e la scrittura creativa. Ha esordito con il romanzo Arianna (Sonzogno, 2022), retelling mitologico della famosa storia del Minotauro. Escono, sempre per Sonzogno, nel 2023 Elettra e nel 2024 Atlanta.
