Bad Decisions

Six people. No proper plan. One restaurant that probably should not exist. When Daniel decides that opening a restaurant is a perfectly reasonable idea, the evidence immediately suggests otherwise. There is no proper front door, no chef, no settled menu, a collection of suspiciously mismatched chairs, and a goat nobody remembers inviting. Then someone accidentally gives the place a name: Bad Decisions. What begins as barely organized chaos quickly becomes something much harder to control. Employees appear, inspections loom, customers start paying attention, and a few improvised choices turn into very public promises. Somehow, between kitchen disasters, unexpected guests, questionable business decisions, and a goat with growing celebrity status, the restaurant begins to attract people. The problem is that success creates its own emergencies. Bad Decisions is the first book in We Should Never Have Opened This Place, an ensemble comedy series about friendship, work, ambition, accidental entrepreneurship, and the strange things that happen when a group of people keeps solving problems they probably should never have created. For readers who enjoy character-driven sitcom humor, workplace comedy, found-family dynamics, fast dialogue, and lovable disasters.
