Barberry Bay

Samantha thought moving to Barberry Bay would solve her problems, instead she found herself facing new ones - namely in the shape of a missing person case and an entirely-too-attractive police officer. Burnt out by a toxic workplace and desperate for a fresh start, she leaves Melbourne behind for a quiet life in the picturesque coastal town. Instead, she arrives just in time for a missing persons case. When local artist Isla Porter vanishes without a trace, the close-knit community is thrown into turmoil. As rumours spread and long-buried secrets begin to surface, Samantha finds herself drawn into the search for answers alongside local police sergeant Marcus Carter. Marcus is determined to keep the investigation professional. Samantha is determined not to get involved. Neither plan lasts long. As the mystery deepens, Samantha uncovers links to a century-old shipwreck, hidden histories and secrets someone is willing to protect at any cost. With danger creeping ever closer, she must decide how much she's willing to risk for the truth - and for the life she's beginning to build in Barberry Bay.
