Attivi dal 1991, gli Oasis sono un gruppo indie rock britannico. Considerati i pionieri del Britpop, sono stati, a detta di molti critici, il gruppo di maggior impatto negli anni '90 a livello mondiale. La band vede al centro i fratelli Gallagher: Liam, cantante frontman, poi anche compositore e Noel, chitarrista, cantante, compositore. La loro musica, a cavallo tra rock anni settanta e rock and roll, ha saputo coniugare il melodico a suoni più aspri e ritmati.Il gruppo è stato spesso al centro dell'attenzione dei media per il rapporto conflittuale tra i due fratelli e per l'atteggiamento un po' rude e scostante che ha contribuito a mitizzarne l'immagine. Nell'agosto del 1996 gli Oasis tennero a Knebworth Park uno dei più grandi concerti all'aperto mai realizzati nel Regno...
