I don’t know if it’s because I’ve read this after finishing Redeeming 6 but I feel the writing got worse than the Legacy of Gods Series?! I usually don’t even care about the writing skills of an author if I like the plot but I feel even the plot was subpar at best. It was entertaining but it felt rushed in some point and too much insta-love. Nothing can be said about the smut, 10/10. I would have liked if the author explored some other kinks than primal play that she already used in God of Wrath, which cannot be topped. Another thing, I dislike when authors force-feed us information without creating a veil of mystery. Every character in the book was so willing to talk and spill secrets. I feel like that’s poor writing and plot planning. I did like Dahlia, really enjoyed her character, but it’s stop there. Kane was a piss poor copy of Jeremy but even comparing the two is an insult to the latter. He had some interesting traits but he fell short sometimes and some of his actions didn’t make sense and were not consistent with the character we got presented at the beginning. I’m curious about Jude and Violet and will probability read the next book because let’s be honest I read everything Rina pushes through even though I might not end up liking it.
