Big Little Projects Book 1

Big Little Projects are a great way for children and teenagers to learn how to research independently and create their own presentation of facts and interesting information. Each project can be completed simply by answering the questions given, or by using the questions as starting points to find out about the subjects. The Big Little Projects books include a wide variety of subject areas with a good mixture in each book. The main areas are English, History and Science and include work covered in the later years of primary school (Key Stage 2), the first few years of secondary school (Key Stage 3) and specific areas of study used in GCSE English, History and Science. Advice on how to study and where to find information is given in the books, along with ideas for bringing the projects to life and overcoming difficulties with written work. Creative writing ideas are also used to help young writers practice a different way of presenting facts and information.
