Akureyri City, a future vision of a concreted relic of hope, one built from sweat and industry and raised in a paradigm in which the very builders are those that suffer most and glean the least. A skyward hive of consciousness, where money and power are not always the same. A place where the stories of the many soak into the tarmac like oil: trodden on, climbed over, forgotten. This is a story about existence. Four lives intersect by chance, standing blindly at the end of the world. They are the unwitting architects-in their choices, in their survival, to the consequences they build around themselves.
