In Cosmic Drift, Captain Kael Vance and the crew of the starship Ecliptica find themselves thrust into a distant, uncharted galaxy after Earth and its solar system are violently displaced by a mysterious phenomenon known as the Cosmic Drift. Aided by Laena, a telepathic alien survivor of the Architects' chaos, the crew navigates perilous anomalies, hostile scavengers, and relentless drones guarding the Core. Against impossible odds, Kael's team manages to stabilize the Drift Core, preventing it from spiraling further out of control. However, their victory is bittersweet. The Core's stabilization is temporary, and it remains a dangerous artifact that must be guarded. As the Ecliptica prepares for its next steps, the crew intercepts a chilling transmission from the remnants of the Architects: a warning to surrender the Core or face annihilation. The message confirms Laena's fears that the Architects' creations still linger, and their ancient agenda threatens all who interfere.
