Come si può intuire dal titolo questo libro è del genere fiction e viaggi nel tempo. La protagonista si trova catapultata dal 1799 al 1995 nel bel mezzo della produzione di un film stile Jane Austen, e un omicidio. Il titolo mi ha subito acceso l'interesse ma poi non riesce a captare completamente il lettore. L'inizio è molto interessante e mi è piaciuto seguire la protagonista e la sua reazione al mondo dei nostri giorni. Ma proseguendo la lettura trovo che il libro rimane un pò superficiale, a tratti scontata, e arrivo al finale della storia solo perché voglio sapere come si conclude. L'idea era buona, ma poi perde consistenza e il finale sembra scritto solo per chiudere lì. Mi aspettavo un finale più arguto.
