Philip C. Stead

Autore e illustratore, nasce in Michigan nel 1982. Si è laureato alla School of Art and Design della University of Michigan e ha lavorato a New York per il Brooklyn Children’s Museum, per poi tornare in Michigan, dove vive e lavora in un fienile ristrutturato con la moglie, l’illustratrice Erin Stead. Insieme creano libri per bambini di grande successo, a partire daIl raffreddore di Amos Perbacco, che è stato premiato con la Medaglia Caldecott nel 2011.
