Dead Whisperings

When Ular is given the lost journal of Korvlos the Usurper, he is surprised to read descriptions of the tragic accounts of the decline and fall of Old Tarthalla and prophecies of the future destruction of mankind. Each tale is more outrageous than the next, filled with information that Ular initially dismisses as the fanciful imagination of a twisted, broken mind. More disturbing is the fact that Korvlos claimed to have received these tales from listening to the dead whisper their tales to him. However, when Ular makes startling connections between Korvlos' tales and his own life, he is forced to reevaluate whether or not Korvlos was telling the truth... or whether or not he himself is going insane.
