Ann Nocenti è sceneggiatrice, regista, giornalista e insegnante. Per il mondo dei comics americani, ha scritto per le principali Case editrici con storie per personaggi quali Catwoman (DC Comics) e Daredevil (Marvel). Per la Marvel, ha creato i personaggi di Longshot, Spirale e Mojo (in coppia con Arthur Adams) e Mutante Zero e Cuore Nero (in coppia con John Romita Jr.).
