Salvatore Scibona, italoamericano, è nato in Ohio. La fine (66th and 2nd, 2011) è il suo primo romanzo. Questo romanzo è stato finalista nel 2008 del National Book Award, nel 2009 vince il Young Lions Fiction Award e il Withing Writers’ Award. Quest’anno l’autore è stato selezionato dal New Yorker tra i venti più grandi scrittori under quaranta di lingua inglese.
