Fallen One

Falling for the femme fatale at his last job probably wasn’t the smartest move in Mac’s life. It shouldn’t have surprised him when she divorced and abandoned him and their young son when his new job didn’t work out. Mac’s reasonably sure the necromancer from the morning children’s show with a “job offer” was her idea. The rent is already overdue, and his boy needs a kind motherly influence sooner rather than later before he turns out like his dad. So, the former henchman accepts the only job offered, working for his old competitor. It’s not that much longer before he’s got a friendless vampire hanging around his neck driving away ‘potential matches’. The raw fury of an offended wingless fae doesn’t help the situation, and even the cute childcare provider is avoiding him. At some point his luck both in life and love has to change, right? What to expect: -Lovably flawed, complex characters, each hiding their own mysteries -Comedic romantic subplot -Clean situation and character driven humor -Vampires, zombies, and other fantastical races -Edge of tomorrow setting in an alternate world -Dramatic narration by author using multiple voices and accents -An AI that should never have escaped the lab once, let alone twice. -There are no shapeshifting dragons, werewolves, or ghosts that inhabit computers. They’re not real. *wink, wink*
