Six-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander sits among exalted company in the history of Australian motorsport, as a dominant figure in the modern era of the annual 'Great Race' at Mount Panorama. A lanky kid from Perth obsessed by going fast, Garth achieved skill and speed in a race car that took him to places very few racers ever reach, including the crowning achievement of V8 Supercars Championship in 2007. He's raced wheel-to-wheel against a rotating cast of legends, from the era of Dick Johnson and Larry Perkins to Mark Skaife, Craig Lowndes, Marcos Ambrose and modern heroes including Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin and Chaz Mostert.
