Chris Smith è un giornalista e scrittore inglese, conosciuto per essere conduttore del programma radiofonico Newbeat in onda su BBC Radio 1. Come autore ha vinto nel 1981 il H.E. Bates Short Story Competition, nella categoria under ten. Tra i suoi titoli più recenti si ricorda la serie per ragazzi Normal Kid, pubblicata nel 2018 in Italia da Nord-Sud Edizioni.
