I so loved "Amy Snow" by Tracy Rees that I decided to read "Florence Grace" and I adored this story too. Good quality of writing describing the Cornish landscape and the contrasting wealth and squalor of London in Victorian England. Florence is a headstrong and spirited young girl living a hard life with her grandmother on the wild moors of Cornwall. She is reclaimed by the family and transplanted reluctantly to London to live with the Graces, not everyone is kind to her but at least she learns from them and finds true friends along the way. Recommended. Jean
