From Under The Altar

And they defeated [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony….” The Apostle John, Revelation 6:9; 12:11 TLB To commemorate more than 50 years of serving the persecuted church, the leadership team at The Voice of the Martyrs Canada commissioned the writing of 50 devotional messages – one entry for each year that God has faithfully led this ministry – compiling them into a special keepsake book. These timely devotional messages contain words of encouragement and insight from international partners, staff members, volunteers, and board members…who are all serving as witnesses on the mission’s front line spiritually. The title, From Under the Altar, references the book of Revelation, using the framework of chapter 12 throughout the devotional to outline the ways in which the enemy (described as a dragon in Revelation) seeks to harm God’s people, and how they are empowered to triumphantly overcome!
