Keep in mind that the secret spot is not a physical location, but rather a spiritual presence. Understanding that we are not looking for a place but rather a person is critical. It is in the secret region of God's Most High that true intimacy is sparked, a craving for not only power, but for His live presence. Attuning oneself to the depths Desperate, hungry hearts are the first step toward entering the "hidden chamber of the Most High" (Psalm 91:1) (see Matthew 5:8). As a result of this yearning, we set out to develop a relationship with Christ that is both genuine and deep. In Psalm 42:7, we hear David's aching lament.
