HEAVEN SENT ME A REQUEST

What if Heaven sent you a friend request? Carlos Okafor is a skeptical, technology-minded young man who stopped believing in God after his mother's death. He trusts logic, facts, and code anything that can be examined, tested, and explained. Faith, once the centre of his childhood, has become a painful memory. Then a mysterious social media account named Heaven sends him a friend request. There is no photograph, no biography, and no obvious explanation. Only a message: "You've been chosen to fix what faith forgot." Carlos initially suspects a prank. But when the messages begin leading him toward people carrying hidden wounds, broken relationships, and desperate questions, he finds himself caught in a mystery that neither technology nor reason can easily explain. Alongside Dela Mwansa, a thoughtful theology student, and Ayo Makhubela, a gifted hacker haunted by his own past, Carlos follows a trail that leads from hospital rooms to troubled neighbourhoods, from forgotten prayers to painful family memories. Each encounter forces him to confront a difficult question: What if the answers he has been searching for cannot be found through logic alone? As the mystery deepens, Carlos must face the grief he has avoided, the father he abandoned, and the possibility that faith is not always about receiving an explanation. Sometimes, it begins with the courage to listen, forgive, and take the next step. But who or what is behind the account called Heaven? Is it an extraordinary technological creation, a divine mystery, or something that challenges the boundaries between the two? Heaven Sent Me a Request is a thought-provoking novel about faith and doubt, digital connection, forgiveness, grief, and the unexpected ways people can become instruments of hope in one another's lives. Because sometimes, the message that changes your life arrives when you least expect it. And sometimes, the most important question is not who sent the request, but whether you will answer.
