Satan isn't finished with Adam Peterson and, this time, the devil has a plan to finally thwart him. It has been six months since his sister's brutal death, six months since Adam had to fight to save the soul of the world, and - as Satan's legions seemed to be on hiatus - Adam feels ready to go back to his day job as a teacher. He meets his new headmaster (who definitely isn't all he seems) and is introduced to whole new staff of teachers He quickly concludes that all is not as it should be. It doesn't take him long to recognise that there is something terribly wrong with the children, and to top it all off, Father Kelly's ghost goes walkabout and Adam loses all of his supernatural abilities. Book Two in The Armageddon Series sees Adam extremely conflicted. His faith wavers and he begins to question his ability to be effective in the war against evil. It all begins to seem more than a little futile and, when it becomes clear that Satan will use the children for his own ends, Adam can't reconcile with the necessity of destroying the innocent in order to save the world.
