He is reckless, lethal, and slowly dying from the toxicity he craves. When Kaelen kidnaps Elara to guide him to the crater's floor, their survival becomes a desperate negotiation. Elara needs his oxygen tanks to keep breathing; Kaelen needs her bleeding lungs to navigate the invisible, shifting currents of death.
