Joon

The future is not what you expected it to be... The full length edition of Joon: Origins is here and officially will be part of a series of its own named Origins: Kurai Michi. It's deeper, darker and answers questions you didn't know you had. Aliens have inhabited earth. Humans have evolved to live in sunken countries or have been experimented with enough to create a new sub race. The world is an entirely new place, and the supercontinent Pangea has been forced back together as the remaining inhabitable landmass. It is a fraction of what there was over two thousand years ago... Joon, an Relqen mixed breed has been left to survive this new world alone as a child, and grows to become one of the most fierce female mercenaries in the hidden Megacity of Kurai Michi. As she grows and develops, Joon makes a few friends and with their support, she manages to navigate the city and the life she has created for herself. A life of booze, guns, underground trafficking, and embezzlement. A life where navigating day to day, person to person interactions is more difficult for her than ending a life. A life where she knows she wasn't simply abandoned by the one parent she had left, but knows in her heart that they were taken, and it is up to her to find them. Only for her to lose the one friend she ever had, and end up spiralling further than she thought she could ever go.
