Julia Unleashed

Julia is a powerful executive focused on her career who faces a tough decision after her husband of fourteen years reveals a secret. She plans to pour herself her career and friends, but the hunky bass player in her husband’s band has a different plan for her. Julia embarks on an exploration that unleashes her zeal for life and her inner sex kitten. Her blind spots get her into hot water at work and the safety net of her career falls apart – just when she needs the money most. Will Julia ever get what she wants at work and in the bedroom? What reviewers have to say: "This series fills a huge gap. Romantic, smart fiction that truly represents the reality of women who value their professional lives the same way they value the other facets of their lives. Not enough of this exists in contemporary romantic fiction - usually the heroines are ridiculously young stuck in “no future” jobs they don’t really care about. Plenty of us have invested years of hard work, passion, and energy into our careers and want relationships that meet us where we are. The first series of books I’ve found that reflect that reality. Can’t recommend them enough if you want a dose of reality and empowerment with your romantic fiction." "This book is a totally engaging story about a confident, funny, high-powered and totally empowered woman dealing with inequities in a male-dominated field. She finds her way in the workplace as well as in love. I couldn’t put it down, wanting to know how it turned out; Julia is such a believable character that I found myself wanting to meet her. Bravo Laura Preslan on this great novel - I hope there are many more." "This is a great book for anyone that has ever worked in a corporate environment or struggled with workplace politics. It's a great story of one woman finding the balance of success and love."
