At 28, Nick's life is going nowhere. Homeless and addicted to speed, he spends his days dealing drugs and his nights couch surfing...until the day he meets the woman of his dreams, a woman who shares his interest in getting high. At 34, Trisha is a meth addict who once had a loving husband and a promising career. But her never-ending quest for her next fix has landed her with a part-time job she can barely manage and shared custody of her daughter. After a fateful meeting, Nick and Trisha fall head over heels, fueled by their mutual affinity for daily drug use and a passionate attraction. But as their drug-induced haze clears, they are left to wonder if their relationship is real or just the delusions of two junkies. Longing for a future with Trisha, Nick decides to get clean once and for all and seeks solace in rehab and support groups while Trisha grapples with her own addiction.
