I think I might have enjoyed this book even more than the first one (which I was a huge fan of). It’s just such a joy to read a novel with such strong and realistic women figuring out how to live their lives, including what they want in a partner and how to pursue the career they want in a world that likes to throw complications their way." "It pulled me right into the storyline & got me caring about Kate and wanting to know how things would turn out. And made me wish I had set up my own personal board of directors early in my career, what a goldmine and inspired idea." "Finally! A book set in a world of work that I can recognize! Kate’s story covers ground that unfortunately too many of us are familiar with - facing retribution for calling her boss to account. Kate’s circle of friends are loyal and always in her corner - may we all have friends like these. It was good to read a romance that did not have our heroine solely focused on her man." "Laura Preslan has done it again by writing another winning book that champions women's empowerment in a tough corporate climate. This is a witty, totally believable, and fast paced book about a woman struggling and achieving empowerment with finesse and aplomb!" "Reading through the first few pages, my first thought was “I am Kate!”. This is my favorite in the series so far!"
