Elisabeth Feller (1910–73) was an entrepreneur, art collector, and campaigner for women’s rights and humanitarian causes in Switzerland. Following the sudden and premature death of her father in 1931, she took over as managing director of Adolf Feller AG, a manufacturer of electrical equipment, at the age of just 21. Henceforth, she championed better opportunities for women in business. The French language book L’art, encore et toujours traces Elisabeth Feller’s life and career as well as the evolution of her passion for art: from being infused with a sense of art even as a youth, to her encounters with Swiss architect and artist Hans Fischli and the Zurich Concretists around Max Bill, and to her tenure as chief executive of Feller AG, shaping the company and its products, making sure that their design met the highest standards.
