James Hall è un critico e storico dell'arte inglese. Attualmente è visiting research fellow alla University of Southampton e collabora regolarmente con diverse testate, fra cui il «Guardian», il «Times Literary Supplement» , il «Wall Street Journal» e «Art Newspaper».
