It is a science fiction thriller set shortly, where death is no longer the end, but a mysterious beginning. When advances in quantum physics reveal that human consciousness survives forty days after biological death, suspended in a cosmic vibrational field known as the quantum consciousness network, the world reels. Scientists call this state "half-life." But what was supposed to be a window into the secrets of the soul soon turns into something much stranger... and much more dangerous. A group of orphans killed in a mass accident refuse to move on. Instead, they hack into their communicators, sending cryptic messages to the living. A terrifying warning echoes through the digital ether: "Death isn't what they told you. They're lying to you." As modified "ghost communicators" begin to pick up more than just echoes—glitches, voices, even memories—scientist Elara Miles races to understand what the children are doing. But the phenomenon is worsening. Miniature black holes begin to appear in the locations where the dead lived. Entire memory fields collapse into voids. The children, now forming a unified collective consciousness, reconstitute the network itself. The government wants to shut it down entirely, risking erasing every memorable soul. But the truth is much darker: The children weren't trying to survive. They were trying to warn s—of ancient, invisible beings feeding on the consciousness of the dead. What follows is a battle between memory and forgetting, science and silence, the living and the forgotten. At its core is a question humanity has never dared to ask: What if the afterlife isn't a destination... but a battlefield?
