444 years separate them. Intrinsically entwined. Both on a quest to save God: 2028: The June cases have been solved and closed. At least as far as the top brass was concerned. DCI Angus Westmoor was of a different opinion. He smelled a cover-up and the brass was trying to buy his silence with an early promotion. Had Angus' bosses underestimated his tenacity? Did they believe that he could be bought off? If they did, then they didn't know Angus Westmoor. Together with his sergeant, Tyrone Speers, Angus pursues the June cases to the bitter end and in the process uncovers the depths to which the mysteries plummet.
