The MC is not actually harmed, but this may be triggering to some readers *stupid humor and a sarcastic main character who is just done with the world's bullshit, but also has a moral compass no matter how much she might wish otherwise *no cliffhangers in this book, but it does end with a bit of an "oh, eff you mean, mean author" sort of moment. Sorry, not sorry.
