Her career and her love life are dead. So is the body she just found in the bushes. Whip-smart, detail-oriented Alexis Strong is one of the most high profile women in Silicon Valley. But even brilliant executives have their limits, and when a very public rant gets her placed on mandatory leave, she’s officially out of excuses to put off visiting the villa she inherited in Provence. Rolling vineyards and lavender fields aren’t the only things waiting at the remote French estate: behind its wrought-iron fence, she quickly encounters a dead body on the terrace, a hot gardener with a gun, and an FBI agent with sparkling blue eyes and a devastating smile.
