1972, Irvine

John Niven è nato a Irvine, Ayrshire, Scozia, nel 1972. Scrive per «The Times», «The Independent», «Word» e «FHM». Ha pubblicato il romanzo breve Music from Big Pink e i romanzi Kill Your Friends (per «Word Magazine» probabilmente il miglior romanzo inglese dopo Trainspotting) e The Amateurs.Il successivo, A volte ritorno (Einaudi, 2012), è stato un caso editoriale. In seguito, sempre per Einaudi, ha pubblicato Maschio bianco etero (2015), Le solite sospette (2016) e Uccidi i tuoi amici (2019).
