Nobody Panic!

In the summer of 1986, Janet Morgan joins the Somerville PTA and while she's prepared for big hair and idle gossip, she does not expect a string of missing PTA matriarchs—and their husbands, who don't seem too worried about their vanished wives. Unfortunately for Janet and her social standing, sitting idly by while a mystery is afoot is not her strong suit. After all, if it weren't for the teenage pregnancy that trapped her in their small town, Janet would be a detective solving the very crimes that plight women like her. Instead, Janet is left under appreciated by her husband and a laughingstock of the PTA as her worry grows.But when her best friend turns up as the next victim and the police are all too quick to label her a runaway, Janet knows something dark has arrived in Somerville.Janet must rely on her true crime knowledge, the snarky wit of two other misfit PTA moms, and a new-to-town coroner's apprentice to figure out what's going on. But while Janet and her new friends unravel the tendrils of a devilish deal that spans generations, other demons are lurking in the dark. In order to stop all H-E-double hockey sticks from breaking loose in her small town, Janet will have to confront the demons inside her home and marriage, before she winds up on the wrong end of a ceremonial dagger.
