[3.75] Overall, I enjoyed this book, I have a soft spot for Casey McQuiston's writing, but I'd be lying if I said I had the same attachment to these characters as I did with Red, White, and Royal Blue. This book is funny, sometimes hits you with hard truths when you least expect it to, and it has side characters that make it come alive. So why did I give it a lower rating? Because, for some reason, I couldn't really connect with the main characters and their love story, I found myself enjoying the banter between the roommates more than the romantic scenes. Still, I really can't say this is a bad book, because it isn't, I can see how someone else can pick it up and absolutely fall in love with it.
