Pen Pals

She fell in love with his letters. Can she sign off with a kiss? Sunshiney Annabel is fed up with scrolling, so inspired by an old love letter, she decides to start sending handwritten post: to her new neighbours, absent friends, and distant family. Soon, snail mail is bringing her closer than ever to her favourite people – and it's a good excuse to show off her passion for making cute stationery. When Annabel rediscovers her childhood address book, on a whim, she decides to write to her French pen pal (and first crush) Hugo. Assuming the handmade card won't even reach him, she doesn't hold back, and cathartically confesses her old feelings. But then she receives a letter in his familiar slanting handwriting… Now handsome and chic Hugo no longer lives in Paris, but near Annabel in London, inviting the two friends can finally meet for the first time. But can their chemistry over years of letters translate into a real-life connection? Will Annabel and Hugo become pen pals again, or even become pen… something more? This is the perfect whimsical friends-to-lovers romcom from a sparkling voice, for fans of Hate Mail, Mhairi McFarlane, and adorable stationery.
