Per My Last Severed Head

Body Horror – Corporate Satire – Science Fiction Thriller Patricia Miller has survived corporate America by learning one simple rule: never lose control. At Aethelgard, control is no longer a metaphor. Hired as a compliance specialist for an elite executive retreat hidden in the redwoods of Northern California, Patricia expects another thankless assignment cleaning up the messes of billion-dollar companies. Instead, she is fitted with a biometric execution collar, locked inside a remote corporate compound, and ordered to swallow a mysterious "wellness" formulation. Then the executives start changing. A sales director's jaw splits apart. A strategist grows a monstrous armored claw. The company's carefully controlled retreat becomes a grotesque laboratory of body horror, where stress, ambition, and greed are literally transforming human beings into predators. And Patricia may be the only person immune. But immunity comes with a price. The corporation wants her blood. A ruthless private contractor wants the biological weapon hidden beneath the facility. And the creature running Aethelgard has no intention of letting its most valuable asset escape. With the compound scheduled for total destruction before dawn, Patricia must descend into the facility's deepest levels and turn the very machinery built to control her against its creators. Because when corporate compliance becomes a matter of life and death, the only way to survive is to make one final personnel decision. Termination. PER MY LAST SEVERED HEAD is a savage corporate body horror thriller packed with grotesque transformation, biotech horror, dark comedy, corporate satire, monsters, and high-concept science fiction suspense.
