In this book, the author makes a heart to heart address to those intending to enter care or support work as a career as well as to those who are already serving in those positions. He brings out various pitfalls and challenges that face care and support workers in general and the people of colour in particular. Also, he gives advice on how to handle certain problems when they arise and how to avoid the occurrences of some. In this respect, therefore, the author hopes the information contained in this book will also, in some small measure, provide knowledge and understanding to the administrators, of the pitfalls and challenges their front line employees face while on duty.
