Proverbs

Samuel Bierig walks readers through a Christ-centered study of Proverbs and gives practical direction and strength for the journey of faith. Did you know that life is all about our direction? With each decision, we are heading either toward God or away from him. Our steps will ultimately either bring light and love or darkness and alienation into our lives. Proverbs provides us with detailed directions for this journey of faith, and even better, points us to Jesus, the one whose steps were always in the right direction. Rather than moralistic advice, Proverbs: Walking in the Way of Christ, offers a fresh, gospel-focused perspective on the wisdom given in Proverbs and how to apply it to daily life. Readers will see how Christ has fulfilled the commands in Proverbs and now gives his power to his followers to walk in his footsteps. Featuring eleven lessons from the book of Proverbs, this easy-to-use small group resource includes leader's notes, discussion questions, a short article, a practical application section that can be used for one-to-one discipleship, small group, or large group settings. It is part of The Gospel-Centered Life in the Bible series, examining how the gospel story is revealed through both the Old and New Testaments, published in partnership with Serge.
