Val Emmich, classe 1979, è un attore e cantautore statunitense, noto per i suoi ruoli in serie tv come 30 Rock, Ugly Betty e Vinyl. La lista delle cose che non dimenticherò mai (Piemme 2018) è il suo primo romanzo, conteso dagli editori di diversi Paesi e tra i più acclamati dell'anno dalla critica americana. Emmich ha di recente firmato anche il romanzo tratto dal musical Dear Evan Hansen, uno dei più grandi successi di Broadway degli ultimi anni.
