Scattered
I cannot believe that this zine has been going for a full year! Four issues of Scattered are now out there, scarring minds across the globe. >:) So far, we've published everything from cosmic horror to bizarro, from splatterpunk to gay werewolf erotica, and liminal to LGBTQ+ horror. It really has been a blast putting these little zines together and sending them out into the world. And I do not plan on stopping. Now we have the next issue of Scattered to kick off a whole new year of awesome. This time, we have brand new fiction from Susan Snyder, co-author of Nympho Shark Fuck Frenzy, and David Beaumier, author of the recently published collection of dark literary fiction from Dark Forest Press: The Mourning Fields. There is also a brand-new poem from horror poet Tiffany Michelle Brown, which you will not want to miss. I am ecstatic to work with Leo Corbett once again. He gave us this insanely amazing cover illustration. I can't wait to work with him in the future. And you all will love the sultry centerfold art from P.L. McMillan; you will be drawn into the image like a moth to a flame. Then there is the new media critique from Leslie Edens. This time, she delves into the hit film Iron Lung from director and YouTube star Markiplier. We both saw this one twice in theaters. Leslie is also sharing a recipe with us this month. So tasty. With each new issue, the zine continues to improve, adjusting things here and there to make everything amazing for the readers. And, for the first time ever, from July 1-15, DFP will be taking short story submissions for issues #8-9 and beyond! Plus, there is also the option to subscribe and get each brand-new issue direct in your email or in your physical mailbox as it comes out, automagically!
