Saoirse has being invited by Toombs to a meeting in safe house in Cork. When she arrives she is knocked unconscious as she enters the door. When she wakes up - she is strapped to a chair and electrodes on her wrists and ankles. In front of her is Toombs. "I have a simple question deary - who have you been dating lately?" Before she can answer he turns on the current - she screams........ In Waterford O'Donnell is excited about meeting Saoirse for lunch and is walking down to the Quay where a quiet café awaited them both. Instead as he enters the café a petite pretty girl waves him to sit with her. " I have a message for you - she's going to be busy with my boss for a while, let's talk Paddy Coil!" So begins a dangerous time for both the Special Branch undercover agent and a desperate rescue of the girl he loves. When he arrives back at the office, everyone cheers as he enters, looking astonished - he says, "What is going on?" His boss smiles and says welcome back Commander O'Donnell - he has been promoted. Bad news and good in the same day - but O'Donnell knows which holds more importance to him!
