On a mission to Earth, Ode, an E.T. in the shape and form of a young male human, comes across a beautiful human girl, Stephanie. He learns more than he imagined from this planet, and also falls in love. Instead of returning home, he forgets his mission and learns about human life. His creators are alarmed when he doesn't return home and send another alien, Roimode, to find him. When Roimode discovers the truth and communicates with his leaders, they instruct him to track him down and force him home. If he refuses, Roimode, Ode's best friend, must kill him. But this becomes much harder than anticipated. Will Ode survive? Will he die at the hands of Roimode? Or will he return home with a broken heart?
