Still Falling

He promised to love her forever when he was seventeen. Thirty years later, he's still finding new ways to fall. Laura Ward was thirteen when she met Peter Jordan at Belfast's Lyric Theatre. One look at the handsome, cheeky rugby player, one spectacularly spilled cup of tea, and one borrowed jersey later, her life would never be quite the same. Peter was fifteen, impossible, and already certain there was something extraordinary about the girl who made him laugh. They grew up together. Through first kisses, devastating grief, rugby victories, teenage promises, and the ordinary miracles of building a life, they became each other's favourite person. Now, almost thirty years later, they're married, raising eight children, and still hopelessly in love. But the Jordan household is changing. Their children are discovering lives beyond the family home. Peter's successful clothing business faces decisions that could reshape everything he's built. And when Laura receives the opportunity to bring her writing to the stage, she must discover whether there's still room for the girl she used to be alongside the wife and mother she's become. Between Belfast family chaos, interfering siblings, a house bursting with laughter, and a husband who has never learned when to stop flirting, Laura and Peter face a new chapter of their marriage. Not because they've stopped loving each other. Because loving someone for a lifetime means letting them keep becoming who they're meant to be. A sweeping, funny, deeply romantic Irish love story about first love, lasting passion, family, and the extraordinary beauty of choosing the same person every day. Some love stories end with happily ever after. Theirs begins there.
