Three Pangeas

The Altiplano Dorado country, home to Santiago and his friends, had emerged as a result of many families emigrating after the Second World War. Here, diverse cultures live in harmony with nature like nowhere else on earth. But Santiago is soon presented with another world, a magical land called Three Pangaea, where people and nature have an even more extraordinary connection. With the help of his grandmother Emma, Santiago begins to travel to the new world and explore it. He discovers that those who come from Earth acquire powers such as turning into animals; he meets Esmeralda, daughter of Xiau, the chief of the Jaguar people and, together with family and friends, has wonderful adventures. Three Pangaea, as happened before, is in danger. Santiago and his friends are forced to train with caciques, shamans and teachers from their school in Altiplano Dorado to defend the world using their new skills alongside warriors from all the known cultures and ethnic groups: Vikings, Incas, Romans, Muiscas, etc. Through a highly original combination of cultures and the elaborate presentation of new worlds, the author and psychotherapist Julio Laguna brings us closer in this fantastic novel to concepts such as anxiety, bullying, self-esteem or sexuality, with the aim of giving young people tools to protect themselves in their reality, so that they and their parents can aspire to a different world.
